The Blog Tour for Reckless Abandon was a great success! The winner of the giveaway over at The Book Bag was chosen and I'm so excited to get this book out to her. I really hope she enjoys it!
Every blogger on the tour was gracious and wonderful to get their posts up on the scheduled dates with zero drama or complications. I hope their traffic got a bump out of it because they're all fantastic book bloggers. Anything you could be looking for in the realms of Romance, Erotica, Women's Fiction, Chick Lit, or many other genres can be found reviewed on these sites. Readers are the lifeblood of published Authors and I can't begin to thank them enough for doing just that - reading my novella. Thanks for taking part in my tour!
But none of it would have been possible if it wasn't for Samantha at Chick Lit Plus for her super organizational skills to pull these fantastic bloggers together for a most successful tour! Thanks Samantha!
If you'd like to re-visit, or visit for the first time, any of the bloggers from my tour click over to the Tour Page on Writesy Press.

May is shaping up to be just as busy as April was as I revive some old projects, breathe life into a couple of previously shelved projects, and also start something new.
My digital journal, Randomness and Lunacy, is where you'll find me most of the month. I'm doing a month long of music inspired posts. So far I've written/published/scheduled to post up through May 8 and I'm very proud of the stories included. Many of them will contribute to my new creative non-fiction project.
The possible memoir will be a slow and steady piece of work for me through the summer. In addition I also plan to edit poems for my soon to be re-released expanded Trying for the Moon.
I also plan to take the sequel for Reckless Abandon in a new direction this month and I've already got a few thousand words down on paper. I think the storyline will be enjoyable for readers and might answer some of those lingering questions they may still have after finishing Reckless Abandon. I may not finish the draft by the end of the month but I'm goaling myself to have a first draft ready by June 11.
As my own Agent I set the deadlines but that doesn't make them any less real. Sometimes I think the added pressure is good for me though. Call it the perfectionist in me or whatever you like but I like to deliver on the promises I make. I'm expecting to spend the rest of the summer editing the novel and pulling cover art together. If this next one ends up as a Writesy Press Publication as well then I hope to have it out by August. However I'm considering other options with this one.
I've already self-published two books and though I enjoyed the experience I think it's time for me to really buckle down to find an Agent. I'd really like to see what it's like on the other side being published by a traditional house. We'll see what happens. By August I could completely change my mind and decide to dive right back into the frantic weeks spent publishing another book!
Have a great May folks, see you out there somewhere in the written world.
